Your haven on Route
62
Die Dorpshuis is centrally situated in Calitzdorp a quaint little town on ROUTE 62, nestled in the heart of the
Klein Karoo, Western Cape.
Die Dorpshuis was built in the late 1800's as a prestige
residence for an unknown person. Since then it was extended and became the residence and surgery for the
dorp's doctors and eventually the home to a local school
master.
Come and
have the most relaxing stay at our B
& B and Self Catering in beautifully decorated, comfortable en-suite rooms with

fireplaces.
The garden, described by a guest as 'a little farm glen',
is our pride, and is rounded off with an azure pool and braai area.
The restaurant is open around the clock, and offers mouthwatering traditional home-cooked
fare.
The gift shop sells fresh dried fruit, home-made jams and curios.
